Delete your account

Delete from inside the app

The fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open MineEx and make sure you're signed in.
2. Go to Profile, then open Settings.
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom.
4. Confirm, then type DELETE when prompted.

Delete without the app

If you've already uninstalled MineEx, or can't sign in, email nitrospicexxx@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it.

We'll confirm your identity, delete the account, and email you when it's done — normally within 2 business days, and always within 30 days of your request.

What gets deleted

All of the following is erased permanently, at the moment the deletion runs:

• Your profile — name, photo, headline, and investor details
• Every conversation you've taken part in, and every message you've sent
• The companies you follow or watch
• Posts you've liked or saved
• Your notification and app preferences
• Push notification registrations for every device you've used
• Your sign-in identity, including any linked Google or Apple account

Once this completes, you can no longer sign in, and nothing on the account is recoverable.

What we keep, and for how long

• Encrypted database backups — routine backups may still contain your data until they rotate out, within 30 days. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
• Billing and tax records — if you ever made a payment to us, the transaction record is kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires. This contains no profile content or messages.
• Company news and public content — articles, press releases and company profiles are not yours and are unaffected. They contain no personal information about you.
